Ideology (Napa)

The fruit for this wine was harvested exclusively from our estate vineyard in Napa Valley. This vineyard, north of Napa, is something special. It is bordered on the north by Dry Creek, which has left its legacy by distributing sandy and gravelly soil throughout the vineyard. These soils translate into ideal growing conditions for the fruit, yielding deep, concentrated and intense flavors in the wine. This unique estate vineyard, the Robert Williamson Family Estate, is located in the Oak Knoll District of Napa Valley.

A seamless transition from the nose leads to a voluptuous mid-palate of ripe black plums and cherries, leading into a long soft finish of dark chocolate, clove and vanilla bean.
